Statement
Painting landscapes for me, whether literal depictions
of place or suggestions of emotional space is cinematic; all about
light, space, element and a place in time. Painting is about an
implied dialogue with the viewer, the significance of his or her
vision; what the viewer might bring. It's open-ended.
